Complex linetypes that contain text information in AutoCAD - Unexpected result

This problem can occur when the text style used by the linetype has been formatted in the Text Style dialog box. The linetype can take on the height and the oblique angle settings.

Use one of the following methods to resolve the problem.

Method 1

• Do not make changes to the text style specified in the LIN file.

Method 2

• Edit the LIN file so that the complex linetype uses a text style that has not been formatted or is formatted as required.

Note: If you edit the LIN file so that the complex linetype uses a text style that does not exist in the drawing, the following error message will be displayed when you try to load the linetype: Bad definition
