How to mirror map materials in AutoCAD Civil

While creating a new material or editing an existing one, there is no option to mirror the material's image.

• The only options are Tile and None.

This functionality was available in AutoCAD 2010 and older versions.

Solution:

In prior releases, the Materials Tool Palette contained three repeat settings: Tile, Mirror, and None. 

To accomplish a mirror map of a material in AutoCAD 2011 or later:

• Create a copy of the image file.
• Open the second image file in a photo editor (Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Windows Paint, etc.).
• Within the editor, flip the image.
• Import the flipped image back into AutoCAD.
