How to customize toolbar buttons in AutoCAD

To add new buttons to a toolbar
  1. At the command prompt, enter CUI to open the Customize User Interface Editor (CUI).
  2.  On the Customize tab, in the upper-left section, click Toolbars to expand the toolbars list.
  3. In the lower-left section, find and select the command that you want to add to the toolbar. (You can enter the command name in the Search command list field.)
  4. Drag this command from the lower section onto the name of the toolbar you selected in the upper section.
    A new button will be created in the selected toolbar. 
To remove buttons from a toolbar
  1. At the command prompt, enter CUI to open the Customize User Interface Editor (CUI).
  2.  On the Customize tab, in the upper-left section, click Toolbars to expand the toolbars list.
  3. In the upper-left section, find and select the toolbar and command that you want to remove from the toolbar. 
  4. Right-click on the command and select Remove.
Toolbars can now also be customized from the Properties section of the CUI dialog box.
